AIM and Net Meeting

Hey there,
I’ve been trying to get NetMeeting to work with AIM so I can see and speak to a friend who uses AIM. NetMeeting is installed but it can’t log onto the Microsoft Internet Server. And if I try to find someone I’m told that the Microsoft Internet Server has been superseded by MSN messenger etc. Has anyone experienced this and can you help me out here? Thanks a bunch.

Two different networks, they don’t talk to each other. Download AIM and get a free screen name so you can talk to your buddy via AIM.
