Which method do you use or prefer to use when signing on with multiple screen names, cloning or screen name linking?
AOL’s screen name linking is retarded, Just as the entire corporation is.
Cloning if I need to be on both.
Yes, linking is bad. And even the buttons used to have diffrent buddylists suck. Like I have said before, AOL needs to scrap AIM entirely and start from scratch. Maybe they could end up somewhere along the lines of where MSN is.

With screen name linking, you lack the capability of entering chat rooms, which is one of the problems. Another is that the linked SNs don’t take their formatting changes as they would if they were signed on as a primary SN, ie. my SN, Sprmn954 would be signed on without the capital S in the beginning.
With AIM cloning, you get a complete copy of the AIM program.which AIM cloning do you guys think is the best/easiest to use? and your right, linking screen names dont work like i’d like them too….
I have found that AIMutation (an addon that has cloning) is the best and easiest to use. Plus, its free! http://www.aimutation.com
But you might want to wait for otsego which supposedly comes out this week in beta form.
