im running windows xp sp2 and aim 5.9.3690 with freezer smilez 2.1. whenever I go into my preferences to change my font, a window will come up saying ‘we’re sorry aim has encounted a problem and needs to close.’ when I click okay, instead of closing, it just freezes and I have to close it through the task manager. the last time this happened, some file came up like ‘docor (something)’s postmortum bug fixer has encountered a problem and needs to close.’ has anyone heard of a program that sounds like this? and has anyone else has this problem? thanks ahead of time.

oh, and I forgot to say, when this happens and I sign back on, it looks like I never signed off. whichs makes my away message not work. and I have to completely restart my computer to sign off no matter how many times I sign off with my computer. ahhh its very frustrating. ><I suggest going to oldversion.com and downloading AIM 5.5 because 5.9 is very bulky and crashes alot, just like you said.
