Memberwhy does aim freeze after I sign on for a while. however, when someone signs on or signs off in my buddylist, I get to instant message people and do anything. if no one in my buddylist signs on or off, my aim is frozen. so anyone knows how to fix this problem? i`ve been thinking if it is my broadband router and dsl modem that makes my aim frozen, but if it is, I still don`t know how to fix it. anyone who knows how to fix this problem, please help me out. alright reply as soon as possible!

Memberis your intenet connection stable or does it crack once in a while? Also try changing your setting because if you have to many things on you don’t even use it’ll go slower and if your computer is slow it probably freezes.

hmm .. how can I find out if my internet connection is stable and if it cracks once in a while? i`ve tried removing the programs and files I don`t need but my aim still freezes. however, my aim freezes only when I use broadband router (linksys) and the modem (speedstream). and if I unplug my broadband router .. and switch the plugs into the modem .. everything works perfectly fine. it`s faster too! but I still can`t figure out why my aim freezes when I use the broadband router. if you know how I can fix this problem .. reply back as soon as possible.

Memberhe meant 5.2.3292 .. there is no 5.3..
I hate to say it.. but whenever someone has a problem with AIM, I always say go to http://www.oldversion.com and download AIM 5.1.3036 and it always works 🙂

MemberWhy don’t you upgrade AIM? Because in older versions they have little glitches that might be fixed in the newer versions.
