Okay, so I had 2 versions of AIM and now I am migrating to 6.8 so I deleted the little AIM running man icon shortcut thingie from my toolbar (not an AIM toolbar… must be an IE one??). Anyway, how do I put the AIM logo icon shortcut thingie on there for AIM 6.8?
I imagine it gets on there during install, but since I had an older version already there it didn’t replace it???
Typically there is some setting in the program that says to minimize to tray, or to display icon in the system tray. You should check your AIM settings/preferences (sorry I don’t use it but all the other ones I do use have it.) Just set it on the version you are going to use and I’d imagine it should work ok.
I imagine you’re talking about the IE toolbar? Right-click on the blank space near where it used to be, click customize, then you should be presented with a dialog that gives you the option to move the AIM running man into view.
I have same problem
