AIM keeps resetting idle options

i have myself never go idle through the privacy preferences on aim (using 5.5 and dead aim)…. it keeps resetting itself back to idle though… it will work for awhile and then i’ll show up as idle and when i go into preferences the box will be checked saying to allow people to see that i’m idle….. sooooo i uncheck the box again and the same thing happens a few days or weeks later…. has this happened to anyone?

no one’s had this problem? it keeps happening to me… i’ve never heard of it from anyone and i can’t seem to fix it…. it’ll be fine for like a week and then go back to idle… so weird
