I just installed Aim Pro on a new Windows 7 machine. It had always worked great and I’ve been using it for years on XP. In Win7:
1) I can’t see what I’m typing (can’t visibly activate into the message field or see a cursor, but clicking enter does send the message).
2) I also often can’t see messages from other people unless I click over to the Sharing tab, type a couple messages and then MAYBE I can go back to the IM tab and see their messages.
3) When I resize the window, the messaging sections (both send and receive) do not enlarge.
I know the obvious answer is that maybe AIM Pro doesn’t work on Windows 7. But does anyone else have any suggestions? I like this version’s lack of clutter (compared to regular AIM), as well as its ability to han dle voice, video and screen sharing.
Thanks!
