AIM Problem, PLZ HELP!

everytime i use aim, everything works perfectly, except that when I send an IM, the stuff freezes for about 5 seconds…its not a BIG problem, but its SO TOTALLY ANNOYIN….can n e one help me with this? thanks a bunch! 😎

and btw, i tried reinstalling….and it didnt help 🙁

are you running any other kind of program besides aim?…it could be your computer.

well, i have the deadaim add-on but it didnt have this problem b4…and im not runnin n e thing else except Internet Explorer and my comp is 2.4 ghz wit 512 RAM and 64mb GeForce MX440, but graphix cards dont matter here…but yea it shudnt have this problemm…

i also have deadaim but ive never had this problem…how long has it been doing this?

about 1 week, it happend b4 and i jus reinstalled aim and it had no prob, but now that duznt work 🙁

now that i think about it i used to have this prob a while back with my old computer…it did it when i left my computer on all the time…also..does it do this everytime you try and send IM’s?

ive said this many times before. i bet you have a router cause when i had that problem my router was causing the trouble. justy reset the router when you sign online and everything will be fine.

it might just be a problem with AIM.

it is probably a problem with AIM…is it doing this everytime you try and send an IM?

well you might try running it w/o deadaim , or upgrading dead aim , or aim , if your versions arent compatible it could effect preformance

Its probably your connection. I run 56k (please do not tell me to get broadband there is non avalible) and it’ll do the same thing. If you run 56k then thats your problem, otherwise i’m not sure.
