So while I continued to get these errors with AIM, I downloaded the new AIM Triton the other day. But for some reason, the thing won’t validate or connect. It just keeps saying Validating… Every once and a while it’ll stop and say that it can’t sign on.
Has anyone else had this problem or have any clue how to fix it?
I find it hard to believe that I’m the only one having this problem.
Actually, I have been having a problem similar to that. I would login and everything, but I would eventually get disconnected. When I try to reconnect, AIM would either hang on validating, say no connection found, or AIM is unavailable. It has been happening all for a few days for me, and only on a certain screenname. My other ones would work fine.
The AIM servers were probably down that week. But I have never had a situation like that before.
I’m having the same problem, I can login just fine if I use full fledged AOL, and I can do it on another pc, I’ve tried reinstalling, it’s been doing it for 2 days now.
I have the exact same problem. I have installed/Reinstalled multiple times and it hasnt helped. I dont know what to do!
I have a brand new Dell PC that I installed AIM Triton on, and it works perfectly. My older HP it will just keep saying “Validating…” and won’t even give me an error message. No clue how to fix it just yet.
i have the same problem i have windows xp at work and home and it connects fine at work but at home i have a more powerful system and i just keep getting the valadating message and it never connects
i also am having the same problem it was working but now whenever i try to log on it just hangs at the validating screen can someone please help!!!
