I recently learned about this site called AIMFight. Anyone know how it works?
The site says that the score is based on the number of people who have you on their BL. But how would AIMFight get this information? Don’t we have to sign in to view our buddy lists? And I doubt that many people would be submitting their buddy lists.
This is really freaky. Is AOL selling our personal informatoin or something?
I believe AIMFight is run by AOL itself, so they’re not selling your information to anyone. They’re merely connecting to their own servers.
No worries.
Ah, thanks for clearing it up. 🙂
If u hover your mouse over the score you’ll see its not how many ppl you have in your buddy list its how much connectivity you have with other users.
Here’s the official explanation of how it works: What is AIM Fight?
