I have had this happen to me frequently enough to where it is becoming freaky… I have my cam set up to allow ONE person to auto view. On occasion I get a viewer request that says Anonymous is attempting to view the cam. I have gone to view the profile & Yahoo’s response is there is not one listed… but I get a full name shown plus what looks like an IP addy. 98% of the time my preferences are set to Ignore Other View Requests & the option for viewing in chat rooms is always off.
My question is this… is there any way to find out who this person is? Like their real Yahoo screen name… I would really like to report them to Yahoo.
TY, LB
well the answer is NO… although you have his IP and you can use other tools for tracing him/her out… The ANONYMOUS view request is done by a software which allows you to view other ppl’s cam anonymously… you cant block him /ignore him… just keep denying the request…
