Another fake idle question

well,… i have searched the forum,… and havent seen a definate answere to this:
when someone has a fake idle maker,… and you point to the clock which indicates them being idle,… does it show the time they have been idle,… or does it just show the clock???

It shows both the clock and the time, although i’ve noticed sometimes the clock resets back to 1 second at random times while other times it is the actual time they set it to begin idle, but yes the time is always there for you to be able to see.

There is also a setting in messenger preferences, “Do not show anyone how long I have been idle.” With that checked, there would be no time shown at all. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the fake idlers, but it may.

With the fake idler, even if they have that preference checked to not show how long they’ve been idle, it still shows it. So regardless of anything, you should still see a time along with their idle clock, if they are using a fake idler.

You can’t. But if you check their idle time oftenly, with the fake idler it can randomly go to zero sometimes and start moving up again without the idleness flashing off and on, but not always.
