There is one called Kool IM, and it does the same kinds of things, but uses actual browser pop-up windows instead of the AJAX ones Meebo uses. I’ve used it before, prefer Meebo, but Kool IM still is a nice one to use.

although i think that the quickbuddy client uses TOC1.0 which is broken.This isn’t my name on here, just logged in w/ a diff one to reply to this one topic. But if you haven’t tried doing this then do it. Instead of typing http://www.meebo.com into your browser, type https://www.meebo.com
I know that this worked at my school and that was the only way I was able to get to Gmail or on Meebo. Be sure to put the “s” in there. Hope it works!! bye!!:Dtry Kool IM, soon they will also have an embedded mode like meebo has 🙂 so it will be popup and embedded 🙂
