Hi i’m new here and i”ve done a tremendous search on why my AIM connection is constantly being dropped…every 2-3 minutes…and i’ve come up empty. It’s so rediculous. I’m so sick of it!!! Drives me nuts…Anyway has anyone found a fix for this yet? I’m on a LAN I use a proxy and I’m using AIM 5.5. II use Yahoo as well and I NEVER have any problems!! ‘ve been working on fixing this for MONTHS now and anyone who can help would be considered a flat out GENIOUS.
ANY Suggestions????? PLEASE?!?!:(
Anyone? Is there a techy forum somewhere where I can get this question answered that any one knows about?
ok if you are routing aim through a proxy and you are using https it has a tendancy to knock you offline constantly like your saying you want to use socks 5 that is the best you can really do but even that will knock you offline occasionally.
Ok yeah that’s what I figured – I’ve spent MONTHS looking into this. The reason for the proxy is cuz i’m on a LAN at work and that’s the only way out…
Do you guys have any other suggestions that I could use to have me not get kicked off so frequently (avg every 2 mins.) ???
