my sister clicked on a link and now when I put an away up, it changes my away to that link saying”hey check this link out” and it’ll keep chaning my aways to that like every minute and when im online, it puts an away though I dont want to be away. even when I close the entire program, it opens AIM itself and pops some hyperlink thing…..please help me, if possible email me whatever helps to my email addy.
THANKSProbably some adware or spyware. Run http://www.lavasoft.com‘s Adware/Spyware scan utility called Ad-Aware. You’d be suprised how much malicious software you really have on you’re computer. 😉
Hi… I did adware and everything… I have the same problem as him… only mine also has a new aim window that pops up and tells me to run aim… how do I get rid of it! I did everything but nothing works
if someone had this virus before and got rid of it…please tell me how because im so sick of my aways changing and ****
So, did you do everything we suggested? Also try SpyBot – Search and Destroy…….
