I have been having this problem for a while now. When I try to go back neither my browser’s back button, nor my mouse’s back button seem to work. I only have this problem on BBB.
Also, another problem I have been encountering is that there is a huge block of empty white space before topics. I have to scroll waaaaay down to see anything.
Is anyone else having these problems, or is it just me? Could it be my browser? I am running FF v1.0. If so, I may have to live with these problems because I ain’t upgrading my browser, I don’t like the newer version, haha
Eegads! I could not even see my own topic…the one I just tried to post. All that came up was empty white space. Maybe I will be able to see this reply? *crosses fingers*
EDIT: Well, poo. I can see and do everything fine in IE v 6.0. So I guess it is my browser. *sniffle* Is there anything I can do other than upgrade my FF, because I really don’t want to.
Hmmm… I’m running Firefox 2.0, and it displays perfectly. I used to run FF 1.0 back when, and I don’t recall having the problem you’re describing.
Maybe another FF 1.0 users can confirm the problem?
EDIT: Out of curiosity, I checked our stats to see what versions of Firefox BigBlueBall visitors were using. FF 1.0 is definitely in the minority, with most using 2.0, followed closely by 1.5.
It must be my browser, then. I’ve tried BBB on IE 6 and FF 2 and it works on both just fine. I am guessing FF 1.0 is just too old. I would like to know if any other FF 1.0 users are having the problems I am having, but it might be hard to find another FF 1.0 user here, heheh. Ah well, I guess I’ll just have to upgrade.
