As everyone probably knows basketball season is here, and it is time to find some warm up music! Does any one have any good suggestions for a warm up or runout song? If you do post it please! Thanks in advance!

January 14, 2004 at 10:42 pm #52165tangledlisaMemberLet’s get ready to RUUMMBBLEEEEE.
Back in HS we had warmup music like this.. but those songs were really old. If you want newer music or what’s popular search on http://www.billboard.com – at least it may give you more ideas.

What can I say? I am Spanish…in my defense you have to admit it has been proven effective since La Macarena, hehehe.

October 5, 2005 at 4:38 am #52173colinMemberSongs that get me pumped up (they all get me energized for different reasons, so it might be different for you, I don’t know):
Nelly – Heart Of A Champion
A lot of Eminem songs
Jay-Z and Linkin Park – Points Of Authority/99 Problems
Nirvana – Smells Like Teen Spirit
R. Kelly – The World’s Greatest
Shinedown – 45
Story of the Year – Until The Day I Die
Survivor – Eye Of The TigerSongs that get me focused (just as important as getting pumped up, especially in Cross Country):
Will Smith – Tell Me Why
Michael W. Smith – Lord Have Mercy
Evanescence – My Immortal
Enrique Iglesias – Hero
Ben Jelen – Come OnI’m not sure how this compares to other people’s playlists, but these songs do the trick for me. I have somewhat weird of a taste in music for a guy though 😉 . Good luck!

October 25, 2005 at 1:02 am #52175gossipingraeMemberi like “bring em out” by TI and jay-z, the women’s soccer has that as one of their songs.
eye of the tiger is a good one too, like everyone else said
the “rocky” theme is good too.
for women’s basketball, “hollaback girl” is a good one by gwen stefani
get any of the jock jams cds. those are good ones to get you pumped.
and suzuki… if you don’t like anyone’s ideas, go find your own songs 🙂
