OK, since there is a “Best Windows OS” poll, I thought I would like to see from those of you who use UNIX, what distribution you like the best. I know there are many many distributions so thats why I didn’t put this in the poll section and add a poll to this.
My favorite distribution is Fedora Core 2, Fedora 3 Core didn’t work with my Nomad Jukebox and seemed to run slower on my computer than Fedora 2 Core.
Fedora Core 3. There is nothing to say – it’s awesome.

Completely agree. I wasn’t too fond of FC1 or 2. Each had their own problems with my machines. FC3 works great on my laptop but not on two other systems of mine because of bad drivers with the Intel 810 graphics. Oh well, still very nice distro. 🙂
I guess this is a Windows User dominated forum haha
I’m a lazy sysadmin, I’ll admit that anytime. I’d rather type ‘up2date –update’ to see a whole machine updated than going through a proces of compiling from source and verifying all dependancies. RedHat all the way baby!
RedHat Fedora Linux at home, RedHat Fedora Linux at work, RedHat Fedora Linux on the road and RedHat Enterprise Linux on the new BigBlueBall server. 😉
I agree, Fedora Core 3 is a very good Linux distribution. I love it 😉
