OK, I tried IM’g a friend I had not communicated with in several months. When I messaged this person I receieved the following message…”zone labs security alert has blocked your message because you are not listed on contact list”.
I’m fully aware that we can have friends listed under their Yahoo ID or Nickname, First, Last Name. Is it a possibility that this person has me listed under a nickname, instead of the Yahoo ID I used to message them and that prompted the above response? HELP PLEASE:(By the message you’re receiving I think that maybe your friend has removed you from his contact list and that Zone Alarm has blocked your message for that reason. Since you say you have not contacted this person for quite some time I would suggest triying to email that person first and ask him or her to add you again to his or her allow list.

ID, your buddy should have received your message if your on his/her list. Also it sounds to me your buddy is using IM secure by Zonelabs that is why you get that message. 😮 Its sad to say, but it looks like you are not in your buddy’s friends list anymore. 🙁
Do you have Zone Alarm Security suite installed on your pc?
Zonealarm will go by True id not nickname.
Even if that person has IM Secure on they still would still get notification of your pm and the alert that it was blocked also.
If this person did have pm’s off you would not have gotten the reply.
So it would seem the person has removed you and no longer wishes to talk to you.
Or its possible said person is not the owner of that id anymore.
