I was bouncing through the rooms and decided to turn voice on, and my toolbar for voice decided it would poof. Just downloaded 1750 today after debating over whether I should or not and seems I should have waited, LOL.
First after turning voice on everything was fine except the Talk button was missing, so I turned voice off and back on and scrolled my mouse over the voice toolbar at bottom and the following pic is what became of it. The Talk button was gone and it moved my Level Meters over to the left over the top of the Hands Free Label
Note: I am also using VB_Packets menu but I don’t believe that had anything to do with it, but who knows. I really didn’t feel like decompiling to look through and figure if it’s messed uo or not
untamed I am on 1750 also and hasn’t had the problem happen to me however how about ruling this one out ie VB packets menu.. go to his site or shifters and download the current version 1.5 and install it. then try it again and if it happens again then that can be ruled out or if it doesnt happen then you know the dll you had wasnt working for the 1750 version.
when there click on file and click on our programs and you will see the 1.5 version , come back if you are still having this problem.
I have high respect for VB’s dll patches.. I’ve been using it a long time. But I think there is something wrong with the new build (1750). I uninstalled everything and downloaded again YM 6, 1750. Prior to installing the patch created by VB I was already encountering errors like… YM wouldn’t open at the first click of the shortcut icon in my desktop and when I invite someone to voice conference… I get an alert like there’s no response from yahoo server or something.
What’s wrong with it? We chatters are doomed.. lol
i will apply a Update for build 1750 only Today! your correct there must be a bug maybe your on another OS , ill make a 1750 only patch today it will be made available at Cool Yahoo 5 This afternoon GMT
People tend to jump the gun way to easy. I was not saying vb’s menu was messed up, but vb himself or anyone else that program’s or as vb is doing with the menu decompiles and recompiles it, knows it isn’t hard to make a mistake. I like vb’s menu update, it keep’s me from doing it myself though I do tweak them a good bit when I get them. I’m just saying there’s a problem somewheres. My roommate has 1750 without the menu update and his has not had this problem and as far as computers and OS his is 2 models below mine and he’s running every bit of the same software I am. VB sorry if you took offence but be real, noones perfect.
