MemberOK, i use trillian, and i put the code in for all 3 accounts that i have and not one of them sent a message. they all went to your website when clicked on. Couldnt tell if i was online or not.
am I doing something wrong by cutting and pasting the code into my page? or is there something else fundamentally wrong with OSI.

MemberClickable IM links are only supported for AIM, ICQ, MSN and Yahoo (not Jabber and Trillian).
Jabber and Trillian links should go to http://status.webhop.net/

MemberIm not sure if this is a bug or not but the image http://tony.webhop.org/ takes forever to load on my computer, along with the images that I have made. Im on dsl, so I didnt think it should take that long. Anyone know of the reason?

MemberI am using AIM status for my status image. Most users have no problems at all with AIM status, but some users have reported that it takes long time. Not sure if it is because of network connection or browser type though.
geeker, which browser are you using?

MemberOn your webpage, clicking on “…or click here to get your Online Status Indicator now!” brings you to a web ring, not to sign up for an OSI. Very annoying! But then it lets me sign up for one when I click on the link in your signature… very WEIRD!!! and also the page that creates the OSI is slow loading once you input hte information! And Im on DSL!!!

I agree, very weird. WebRing has added a popup and when displaying this popup they show the ring page instead of the page that should have been shown. If it feels any better, you will only get to the web ring page the first time you click on this link. If you go back and click on it again (without closing your browser), you will get to the register page.
If the register page loads slowly I suggest that you switch to another host (by clicking Next Host in the Web Ring box at the top).

MemberStill no luck. Now that you have hosted your site with TK I cant access the register page at all no matter now many times I go back and click on the link again.
Oh and all the others are slow loading.February 12, 2003 at 6:56 pm #66114twistedmetal
MemberOK I used another one on the web ring, and it worked.

MemberThe site works fine for me, and is loading fine. I do not think you should be posting about icons loading slow, seeing as how that is the hosts problem.

MemberNot the icons, Im talking about the page loading slowly, all the hosts pages load slow.

MemberI am still having a problem with MSN. The pool starts at 0/150. The numerator climbs slowly to 150. After reaching 150 the numerator and denominator fall slowly together to 5/5. At that point MSN pool goes to 0/5 and goes offline. I need to stop the OSI, change the MSN pool size up, and restart the OSI to get it to work again. OSI is version 4.6. Java is “java version “1.3.1”, Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1-root_1.3.1_020714-12:46), Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.1_03-69, mixed mode)”

Memberjfisher2, your problem is most likely related to that your host is on Mac OS X. Your host is the only one that runs on Mac OS X and no other hosts are having this problem. Still, this needs to be solved. Please e-mail me your log files to status@chello.se and I’ll see what I can do…
