MemberFirst of all make sure you have the latest patch: patch D for 0.74 or patch C for Pro.
If that doesn’t help you need to tell us the error message and the version of trillian (free or pro) you’re using so we can help you. To get the error click on the MSN connection button (the blue circle) and click “toggle status window”. Then copy all the text you see there by selecting it (no need to press ctrl+c) and paste it here.

MemberI have seen this error and I know for a fact I am not the only one I am quite positive that I have entered the user-name correctly as I have purged the account several times and put the name back in!. Like I said before I have been to cerulean studios and many, many, people have the same problem as I, I also have done everything that they suggested there at their website and still nothing!!

MemberCan’t connect with Trillian for some odd reason? Behind a firewall or router and don’t know the settings? Can you connect with the real client?
If you can, then try this:
Connect using the real client.
Get to a command prompt (in Win9x and NT4, it’s Start->Programs, MSDOS Prompt; in later versions, click Start->Run and type “cmd”, then enter).
Type “netstat” and read the output on the screen.
Make note of the information concerning the problem service.
In Trillian, change the server and port to match the netstat results.
That *should* work!
thanks to Amoeba for this I tried it before and for some reason it did not work! but for some strange erason now it does thanks!!
