Canon DV Messenger

im having problems with canon dv messenger, it came with my new camcorder but i cant get it 2 work with msn6 (with plus)

ive tryed getting the new vertion from the canon website but that wouldent work either

now im thinkin if it install polagamy and then download msn 4.7 (like it sayz u nd on the cd) that might work??????

can sum1 suggest how 2 fix it or if it works be4 i start installin all this stuff on ma computer?

DV Messenger requires Windows XP along with Windows Messenger (4.5 or higher), not MSN Messenger. There lies your problem. Windows Messenger should already be on your XP system, but you can always download it from here.

i kinda got it working yesterday but u needed the other person to install it 2 so its kinda **** cos u cant use it as a real webcam
