and that’s a really big problem? you do know that aol changed the warning rules a while ago, right? i’m not sure what the new rules are, but they’re supposedly more restrictive on how many times you can warn people…
not sure about the block though
The new warn rules are that the person who started the conversation does not have the ability to warn until the conversation gets into “depth” (until late in the conversation), supposedly proving that the warn is legitimate and being put to proper use.
……. but i can’t warn anyone, like they will start the conv. or i will i can’t warn or block, yes i do get a error , i haved warned anyone or block anyone for a lot time becuse i can’t
Okay… It would be helpful if you displayed the error.
I usually get the error too but I don’t use it often. When I get it, it usually says cannot warn an ICQ user… When they are using AIM… It’s pretty funny at first..I really don’t care about the warnings, I think you are just not “deep” enough into the conversation – how far are you in? 20, 30 lines?
What error do you get when you block?
… i just can’t block in the window we are typeing in, i can on the buddy list, and i am alot more then 30 lines
when i try to block in the typeing window it says blocking of ‘screen name’ not allowed.
I have AOL 9.0 you just click on the Report IM Spam button and it will warn and block the person even when they send you there first message…
