Hi everyone
I hope someone out there can help me…here is what happened…..I had AIM 5.9 on my computer, and it was working fine….my friend tells me there is a new version of AIM….so I try to install it, it was the Triton version….well after it installed, I try to log on and it said validating….I tried rebooting and log on, still stuck on validating…..so I uninstall triton…and AIM…..tried reinstalling Triton same error….so I uninstall it….then I go to regedit….and delete everything that says AOL and AIM……so I try to just reinstall AIM….now when it installs, it asks if AIM can be the default IM….I cant choose yes or no, the screen is stuck, and says not responding…. :crying:
How Can I fix this? What could I have deleted in the regedit???
Please someone help me!!!
thanks
Bonnie
Maybe try a different older version. 5.2 is very stable.
You can get them at http://www.oldversion.com
