Whenever I go to a site and I try to click on a link it just won’t open, I have to manually right click on the link and click “open in new window” for the link to open. The links used to automatically open when I would click on them but for some reason now it just doesn’t work anymore, does anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
what site? or does this happen on any site? I know i’ve had this happen to me recently, like on Google I cant click the different search types (images / groups / news… ) and have to right click them to make it work….
side question, is this actually AIM-related or should this be in the computer room instead?
What browser are you using?
I’m using Internet Explorer 6.0 and it happens on any site as in when I go to Ticketmaster and try to see seating charts and whatnot along with just random sites I go to, they used to work and I just don’t know what happened
Tools > Internet options > Advanced > Restore to defaults. Restart your browser, does it still happen?
yeah it still does happen
My advice is to start looking around for a new browser or reinstalling IE6 if defaulting doesn’t work.
I’d say get Firefox 1.0 – it simply cannot be beaten.
