Can’t view profiles after installing smileys

You know that you can view profiles “manually” by going to http://profiles.yahoo.com/[username] right?

So you reinstalled messenger three times and created a new name everytime? Have you completely deleted the temp files/cookies/folders, etc.. that involve Yahoo on your pc? Do a search on your computer, make sure everything is deleted, reboot, and reinstall. Don’t create a new name – use your original and go from there. If anything maybe have someone log on as you to see if it works for them.. then you can narrow down the problem a bit more.

By the looks of it I guess it ain’t my PC with the problem. Everytime I try to look at my friend’s or my profile I always get these message “
The requested URL /Latino (just n example) was not found on this server. Is it a prob with yahoo again or not,because I’ve also have uninstalled and removed everything that has to do with yahoo and then reinstalling it and still I can’t see their profiles or mine. Anyhow hope they fix this:cool:

LATINO, can you access the profiles manually as Jeff suggested?

I don’t see how that would make it to where u couldn’t view profiles, you say u have to make a new id every day? Could someone be stealing them? This makes absolutely no sense. If you can’t view profiles you can try a different server:

http://kr.profiles.yahoo.com/yahoo-id

If none of those work something is really messed up, do u have any problems viewing any other yahoo web pages or any other non yahoo sites?

You still haven’t answered my question. Are you checking the profiles through Yahoo! Messenger/Chat OR are you doing it manually by going to http://profiles.yahoo.com/[username]
