I have AIM 5.2 and I was wondering if there was a way to change the watermark icon on the buddylist of the AIM running man with the AOL logo. I am familiar with ResHack if that helps.
Also, if possible…I have 4.8 as well (which I prefer) and I was wondering if there was a way to change the plain white background of the buddy list to perhaps an image (like the watermark on 5.2).

One way to change the watermark is to download an AIM Expression. Most are free downloads online, from websites like http://www.digitalenhance.com/ or http://www.picgames.com/aim_expressions.html, which also has an AIM expression creator so you can customize the Expression, or just make it plain white, whatever butters your toast.
