Changing nickname in Talk?

I’m curious to know too , How is it done ? Maybe you have to uninstall it and reinstall it with a different nick next time around …

Saw this same question in a different forum.

You need to go to account properties in your gmail account and change the name there….
So… if I wanted to have the nick fishlips20, all of my e-mails would now have that nick as well… there is no way to seperate the two…

It sucks right now.

The name that appears above your buddy list in Google Talk is locally echoed. Nobody else can see it, all they see is whatever is before the @ in your e-mail address.
