I’ve downloaded the yahoo messenger for macs, but it doesn’t have a way to get into chat rooms like my pc yahoo messenger does. Am I missing something or is this feature not there? If so, is there another mac based program I can use to go into chat rooms. I hate the interface of the yahoo website chat and I am unable to get to the adult rooms in this format.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
As far as I’m concerned the Yahoo Instant Messenger client for Mac does not provide access to the chatrooms.
To access Yahoo chatrooms on the Mac, you will indeed have to install Virtual PC, then download and install the appropriate chat client.
You can run Chit chat
you can run Zinc
These 2 programs provide access to yahoo chat on macs.
There are more but the above two are better known ones. (eg: working)
