Is there any word on when Cheetachat wi;; be back up and running? I went to download it but it says it’s updating the program. It has been like this for awhile. Also where can I get a older version for it to see if that will work?

Well I looked over the site, and since they haven’t even bothered to update the copyright to 2005 I wouldn’t hold my breath any time soon. Cause not only do they have to work on the program but the website as well.

I tried to revive cheeta chat 7 which was written in Delphi myself, i spent something like 12 hours working with geoffery trying to get CC7 just to compile, problem is even if i did, it’s years behind in terms of progress and just simply too much work needs doing when so many clients out there do so much more.
Y!mLite supports avatars like cheeta, y!mlite has inbuilt voice like cheeta, if i was to take another crack i would probably go for a cheeta/y!mlite hybrid, but the source code is on my hd untouched just sitting there gathering dust, geoff is busy doing web development and there’s no way you’re going to see cc make a comeback unless someone can devote all their time to it.
