i need help! there was some link on my firends away message that said “OMFG LOOK . .” then it had a link that siad http://www.christianmovies.com/bestfriends . . . now my away message keeps changing to that! is there anyway to get it off of my computer?
Well, I clicked on the link, and nothing hapened. It didn’t even find the page. Then I checked my Away Message, just to be sure. (Trillian Pro 2.0) Good news! Trillian Pro 2 is not affected! 😎
As for my advice for you, either download Trillian Basic, or uninstall and then reinstall AIM. Then don’t click on the link again. Ever again.
One of my friends had the same thing happen to him and he used AIMFix to remove it.
theres alot of things like that out there, e.g. profile owners, I coded one of thouse not extreamly complicated, but if anyother things like that come up, weather it be your profile changes or your away message, sometimes http://www.exit-reality.net had some answers of what to do, i’m just to plain lazy to explain it rite now so go there
