Creating Yahoo Skins–Question About Button Sizes

In the Yahoo Skinning article on this site there is a blurb about button sizes:

To skin each button, you can create an image for each of them at 48 x 28 pixels.

Can you make buttons smaller than 48 x 28? I want to create a “mini” skin for Yahoo and was wondering if it’s worth my time.

indy i dont think so… the friend_toolbar.bmp is 192×135 pixels… and doesnt resize as far as i know..

its pretty standardized. but that mini messy would be so cool!
