Hi everyone, I am having a problem with Trillian 3.1 Pro, and I am wondering if anyone can help me with a solution.
you can set a custom icon for a buddy in your contact list with Trillian 3.1. All that is required are the following steps;
#1 Open an IM window with your buddy.
#2 Right-click anywhere on the toolbar.
#3 Choose options–>buddy icon–>set.However, EVERY time a buddy on my contact list signs on/off it reverts to their icon, even if they don’t have one.
I like to use the icon view of the contact list, but all the blank spaces where buddys have no icons, looks bad. There are also some buddies that I have on my list with icons I’d rather replace.
Is there any way to make custom buddy icons stick and not replace themselves everytime a buddy signs on or off??
Just tried it with someone, I had them sign on and off, and it worked perfectly fine; The buddy icon stayed the whole time. Try reinstalling Trillian Pro.
I’ll give it a try and see if that helps. I’ve seen this issue posted on a few other forums, but no one ever posted a solution. I’m hoping just reinstalling it will solve the issue.
One other question on this topic, do buddy icons that are used by Trillian have to be a certain size? i.e. like 32×32 or 48×48? or can you just use an image of any size?
