I recently made a expression that contained some new smileys. Does anyone know of a way to get those onto the smiley menu? I designed a webpage where users can click the pic and have the text auto copy for them, but it seems like too much work.
guess no one does this cept me?
ive asked this question many times before! No one seems to know the answer. Try searching google.
did my searching, only found one site with a vague description how to get the smileys into aim, but that was all. guess people haven’t exploited aim with smileys yet
Adding smileys to the menu is easy the problem is AOL will block them from showing up in the menu unless you meet one of two conditions. 1. The screen name is a registered AOL screen name not just an AIM screen name.
2. The AIM screen name subscribed to AOL’s AIM expression service http://expressions.aol.com
Basically if you want them in the menu you got to pay AOL money.
No no no… theres gotta be a way. By some freak accident instead of having the normal smiley popup it was a drop downmenu with the names of my smiley sets and an arrow to the side of each. cept it didn’t open up any further. I was never able to recreate that incident. Thats why i knows theres gotta be a way.
has any one here subscribed to the servece? because if you have will you please IM me at rsg87 i would like to investigate something
