Do people see me sign out when I am invisible?

i am wondering if people see me sign out when i am invisible

In my experience using yahoo messenger, my contacts have been able to see me sign out when I am invisible. I have also seen people sign out that were not online in my contact list so I think it’s pretty safe to say your contacts can see you sign out as well.

In my experience, it’s a random thing. Sometimes it does show you logging off when you are invisible and sometimes it doesn’t.

It does seem like a random thing, however it’s happened to most of my contacts when they’ve been invisible and been disconnected from the Internet, obviously losing their Internet connection. It doesn’t seem to happen all the time though.

It’d be interesting to see what happened if the Stealth Settings were set to, “Always appear offline” to a certain contact.

that exact thing did happen to me, i had a certain contact on my list set so i would always appear offline in the stealth mode and they still said they could see me come ON and OFFLINE……strange really

yes, i have seen this happenig and i tryed myself and this only ocurred to me when i use yahelite, i dont think this happen with ymsn.

I’m just wondering, how “sure” are you of that ?! I’ve not done any proper test, but my feeling is that’s it’s “always”.
In other words, I get a “xxxx has logged on/off” EVERY time, for Invisible friends just like Visible ones.
Can this be resolved ?

I’m pretty sure of the random theory simply because when i am typing to people who are invisible mode, when they log out, i don’t always get the “xxxx has logged off” I know for a fact they did log out because it’s happened while i was typing to my friend and both of us were on our laptops at school. (Yes, the wonders of school, we all sit at close distance and still type to each other on messenger.) Sometimes it does say it and sometimes it does it, which is why i say it’s random.
