ParticipantThere are many different kinds of templates that can be used for many different projects. Please post a little more detail if you would like some help. What kind of template is it? What program/application are you using the template with?

ParticipantWell, first you need to unzip the files using WinZip. Then make the changes to the html template file using your prefered html editor, then upload to your server.

ParticipantWell, now you turn into a web designer and fix it up using an HTML Editor. You can find many freeware/shareware editors available at Download.com. If you are serious about web design, I would recomend trying out a trial of Macromedia Dreamweaver, but that may be a bit too advanced for you. It’s a little much to ask us to walk you through how to make a website, but there are plenty of resources out there offering great info to get you started, have a look at Davesite.com or WebMonkey.
Good Luck!

ok so when u click on the first links in the navigation it goes to a whole different page!is there a way to get it to open in the middle of this page!also how do i get my tagger to show up?August 30, 2003 at 7:21 pm #56199shifter
ParticipantYes, to have a link point to another area of your webpage you will need to create anchors.
Creating Anchors with HTML
1. Set your cursor on the area of the Web page that you want the link to jump to.
2. Type Anchor Text, where anchor name is the text you will use to identify that section of your Web page.Linking to an Anchor Tag with HTML
1. Set your cursor on the text you wish users to click to move to the anchor postion
2. Type Linked TextThat should solve your linking problem, but I don’t know exactly what you mean by “tagger showing up”. Is this an image or a file? Please provide more details.

ParticipantSorry BrdMc3, how will anyone else learn from this Topic if we take it into IM? It looks to me like you may be getting in over your head here. I don’t mind answering simple enough questions about html and web design, but I am not here to walk you through the entire process of web building. If you want to learn, there are numerous resources available. Do a Google search for web tutorials, and you will likely find a wealth of information. From personal experience, when I started out, I bought a book called HTML for the World Wide Web, it will teach all the necessary basics of HTML and a few extra tricks, i would recommend checking it out.
