Ok is it me or has anyone else noticed when they go to post that their edit button is gone ? Or that when they check the box check here to subscribe to topic that they aren’t getting notifications when someone does respond?
Wth has happened all of a sudden? :confused:
Make sure you are logged in to the site (it should say your membername in the top right corner) to edit your posts.
Email notifications are not enabled for all forums. All of the IM forums allow subscriptions, but the off-topic forums do not (with the exception of the computer support forum). You should be receiving notifications if you’ve subscribed to a topic in one of the IM forums. If you are not, please email me and let me know so I can look into it.
Also, be sure your spam filters are configured to allow email from @bigblueball.com addresses. I get a lot of bounced email from AOL and Earthlink users who have tightened up their spam filters too high.
The best way to keep up with topics and new posts is simply to use the Active Topics link at the top of the page. This allows you to see all active discussions for a given time period. If you’re logged in, it will default to the time of your last visit. Pretty cool, eh?
