If you wouldve read the whole thread, wich your probably didn’t, you would have noticed that I don’t like her as any more than a friend.
I am really good friends with this girl at my school. Neither of us love eachother and both are not interested in going out or anything, and probably never will be, but we hang out so much that people think that we “have something going” or they think that I’m about to ask her out.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to convince these people that we are just friends? It has grown into a school wide joke and everyone likes to take part in it.
To hell with what people think…. do you live your life to please others?
Lovers come into your life and may stay but more often they are rejected.
fiends come into your life and seem to command a corner of it that you do not object to, friends are closer than lovers, they understand you more and yet expect nothing from you while lovers are demanding.
Given a choice I would prefer 1 friend to 3 lovers, I can trust a friend to be always with me.
My response…. keep your relationship with the girl, she has made the decision to be close to you, she seeks nothing from you just friendship.
If you dont understand the value of friendship then you are a walking dead person.
Do you care so much about what others think (that people think that we “have something going” or they think that I’m about to ask her out.) that you need to cater to their needs? Screw them, they are dumb and stupid, you dont need them, all you need are friends.
