MemberSo I have looked around this site and I noticed alot of people that have G-Mail accounts have little G-Mail banners on there signatures that use the Google font to display with pride, there G-Mail account name. I was wondering if that is just something you people made on your own time, or if Google themselves can make you one? This is probably the dumbest question ever asked, but I am just curious.
Thanks ahead of time

Memberoh there was a site that made one but I guess it went down.

MemberYes. The site that used to make the G-mail banners, osidian-blake.co.uk, has crashed. If you want to see the bad results of the crash, go here, and press Ctrl-A. You see, there is just a giant white box. But I check it every once in a while, just to make sure.

Memberoh, I created myself one for my website. Its not a sig but, its like the top banner of my website and may be link picture from other website to the main page. Its modelled on Google’s website design.

Another one:

Haha, thats the million dollar question whose answer I was searching for on n on. I compared all my font styles available in adobe psp and it matches to none ( bears a close resemblance to Palatino Linotype ). I asked my room-mate and he tried to compare all his 100 plus font styles and none of them matched too. So we came to the conclusion that Google uses its own original font style. By the way if u stumble across something interesting, let us know.

MemberI just googled for the Catull font and came across something funny:
Top 11 signs your co-worker is on the Google IPO “friends list”
11) Insists on making the Google toolbar a part of all new desktop images
10) Has bumper sticker on his car that reads, “I * SERGEY”
9) Starts spelling name in multicolored Catull font
8) Circulates petition to have “google” officially listed in the next edition of Merriam-Webster’s
7) When referring to lost equipment, excitedly says, “Let’s google it”!
6) “Real Estate of the Rich and Famous” catalogs start appearing in the bathrooms
5) Blocks network access to all other search engines except Google
4) Talks with a stroonge proonoonciatioon
3) Finishes every sentence with “I’m feeling lucky!”
2) CTO springs a surprise visit to meet “the new guy”
1) The giggling. The endless, inane giggling
Lol.
