Gaim won’t connect to AIM, but connects to everything else

I have been using gaim for a while, and just recently it stopped connecting while I was at work. I am usually connected to googletalk and aim, however, aim stoped working recently. I am using 2.0beta3.1, however, this problem began when I was using 1.5, and I upgraded in the hopes it would work. Since it didn’t, I don’t know what to do. I should point out that trillian (bloated little thing) connects just fine (no proxy). What happens when I connect to aim is:
gaim connects….
gaim is automatically disconnected, no reason given….
repeat until connection flood and 10 minute delay forced.

I should also say that I don’t seem to have this problem at home, either.

Any help would be appreciated.
