why dont you try it on a floppy disk. maybe your schools computers suck and cant read the usb drive.
Oh it definately read the USB drive, because it recognized my drive and installed it or whatever, and the computers at school are brand new.
P.S. The start menu is jacked up and all you have access to is Programs and Turn Off/Log off… on there 🙂 Oh ya and the windows key is disabled!
It’s not a big deal, but I am just telling everyone how strict my school district is. heh
I use aimexpress they don’t block it at school yet nor gmail but they do block all other email services including yahoo mail.com and hotmail…
heh… when I first started going there, the old filters used to block hotmail because it had the word “hot” in it.
BTW… they dont block any mail services anymore… I dont use anything but gmail and my ISP webmail, so I think i’d be pretty safe at your school 🙂
If you have your own computer, of if aim is intstalled (The program) then try this:
Under preferences – sign on/off go to Connections
Under the server, leave the host alone, and in the port type 10902
Then check “Connect Using Proxy”
Leave host alone (or make sure it is BLANK, meaning nothing in it)
Put under port: 1360
Where it says protocol jsut put it to HTTP
Now if u get the authentication at the bottom, you dont need to put it in, i usually get it to work without using that, but if it doesnt work for a while then try it.
Now close out of all then sign on. Key: Just keep pressing enter untill it lets you in, and after a few min, if it doesnt try check to make sure the proxy stuff is right. Enjoy!
-this works because half the people at our school use it-
thats cool.
