AIM 5.9 gives you SuperBuddy icons — 3D, animated buddy icons that include sound and respond to what you type — but AOL charges for you to download them.

AIM 5.9 has superbuddy icons for free.. I use all I want of them.. Why would I need stupidbuddy.com?
AIM 5.9 is filled with useless poop. So is 5.5, but I use it anyway.
I looked at the StupidBuddys and there are just stupid. You need to install AIM’s Ad-Ware sha**** to even see them. So why bother?

Actually, they are NOT free. AIM 5.9 charges $1.95 for SuperBuddys unless your screen name is tied to an AOL account.

AIM should focus on their core features (Direct Connections that work, for the most part, independent of versions and security settings, chatrooms that are able to sustain more humans than porn advertising bots, keeping advertising trojans from integrating with the software, and the list goes on and on) before turning their attention to hot dog stuff like superbuddy icons. Just my opinion.
