hey how could u get banned from aol instant messenger
i havent had this happen to me, and i dont know of anyone personally that has had this happen, but this is my understanding…. if you get warned to or over 100%, you are kicked off of AIM. i dont think this is permanent, but it would be at least as long as it takes for the warning level to go down…
it would have to be a pretty severe offense to get permanentl banned though
I don’t think there are any permanent bans for AIM… I mean, anyone can just create a new sn if they get banned, so it’d be kinda pointless.
Anyways, what Tigerblade said is right, getting a 100% warning will kick you off AIM for a bit. Not really much of an issue if you have DeadAIM or any other cloning program, but it’s still a bit of a nuisance.
the only way i know of wer u can get band is if you type ur age under 13
There are also programs that allow people to sign on their screename and suspend it. Lucky for us, they must know the password of the screename they are suspending.
