I am being forced to use AIM at work when I used to use Yahho (GRR) and one of the main things that makes me crazy with AIM is that a new message just pops up on the screen rather than minimizing to the task bar.
Is there a setting I can tweak to make this happen? I’ve looked and looked to no avail.
Also, is there a way I can get the new messages to blink only once on the tool bar instead of blinking in perpetuity?
Thanks for any help or links you can point me to.
ok….. can you see more… like what is the message? and/or when it pops up??

huh? that doesn’t make any sense. bexley wants to know is if there is a way to prevent the IM window from poping up on the screen, instead of going right to the taskbar.
As far as I know, I dont know of any 3rd party plaugins that allow u to do that. I think trillian allows u to minimize it to the taskbar. As for the blinking, u can get a program called TweakUI (google it) and then if u go under the general tab -> Focus, there u can set how long u want it to flash.
