Getting rid of "add request pending"

I cant seem to find a way to permanantly delete people I have added to my yahoo messenger that either dont exist or dont use yahoo IM any longer. It just says “add request pending” next to there name. If i delete them, they just return the next time i log into messenger. Any help with my problem is appreciated

I had the same problem but a few weeks later they just weren’t there anymore.

Well i don’t have this problem myself but here is something similar, click HERE. Also have you tried upgrading to final version 8? It seems to solve most problems. Hope it helps!
