I cannot take the skins in Yahoo Messenger 9 anymore, so I attempted to get the native UI back.
First thing I did was delete the theme folder in the Default skins folder. This actually did bring back the native UI. However, it also removed some vital bitmaps and styling. But at least it proved to me that it can be done; its possible to get back the native UI. I figure perhaps the best way at this is to modify the themes.xml file in the theme folder, but i am not too good at this.
Is there anyone else interested in this that would like to give it a shot and is perhaps better at it than me?
