I am having a bit of a girlie night on Saturday, so six pals are piling around to mine and all are bringing nibbles etc and I have been given the wonderful task of getting some girlie flicks.
It’s something I don’t usually watch, soooo anyone got any recommendations? 😀
*chuckles* Alright, chick flicks… umm okay well I can think of a couple at least that Addy and I like but would never admit to liking (Addy’s about as close as I get to a ‘girl friend’).
Romeo + Juliet (The Baz Luhrman Version with Leo)
While I’m at it, all the Baz Luhrman flicks are good, Strictly Ballroom and Moulin Rouge.*pauses…thinks really hard* Okay some kinda feel good flicks:

What Dreams May ComeOne that I could just watch over and over…and I call it a girlie flick because Ryan Reynolds is in it…and naturally it’s in his contract that he must be shirtless for at least part of the movie:
Mmm lesse…I’m a really bad judge as to what “girlie” movies are, I’m just trying to figure out movies that Joshua didn’t want to see but turned out to be pretty good, heheh.
Spanglish was pretty alright *shrug*I’ll ask my mama what flicks she likes. She’s a better judge than I am, heheh.
You can’t get more of a “chick flick” than The Notebook
Oh gawd, I forgot about that one.
See, I suck at this game. I wouldn’t touch the Notebook with a ten foot pole just for that reason.
Silly me…I saw “girlie flicks” and my mind went to the back of the video store behind the curtain 🙂

Ok…here goes. This one is not an Official “chick flick” but it has Bruce Willis in it and he gets naked. According to Maxim a few years back it was placed in the top 10 of movies with the all time greatest sex scenes (an unforgetable pool scene). The film is also a thriller with plots twist so you get a little of everything. Be warned the directors cut is “R” rated. Its not an outstanding movie…just fun entertainment for the girls. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109456/ Title: The Color of Night 1994 if you havent seen it…its worth watching.
