Google Desktop in GoogleTalk Forum?

Hey Jeff,
I see you posting a Google Desktop thread in GoogleTalk forum.
Google Desktop is not an Instant Message client afaik.
Would it be ok if others did the same?
Just wondering what to do if I find a simmilar thread in future by someone else.

I put it in there (instead of Computer Support or News) because I was specifically pointing out the plug-ins for indexing chats from Miranda, Trillian mIRC, etc (which is directly related to instant messaging). It could’ve gone a number of places; there isn’t one perfect spot.

If the post had only talked about Google Desktop but didn’t mention anything IM related, I would probably have posted it (or moved it) to the Computer News forum.
