That’s right, everyones favorite search engine just got smarter. According to the blog, it can search different types of filetypes, such as power point file types or javascript files, which makes the searching capabilities even greater. You can read more about it here:

It is almost scary how powerfull that little search box can be now. We can only hope Google someday focus’s this power upon the instant messanging world, making the greatest chat, the simplest…..and all for free!
Good old Google. Never fails us. Microsoft releases a crappy 5 billion page-index search engine, and in return, Google makes its index 8 billion. Although I have fears about things like powerpoint files cluttering up results and making it hard to find what you want.
Well maybe in time, Google will add filters so only certain types of file-type extensions will be shown. I’m sure that is on there list of things to do.

you can restrict it to not include those files in your search… granted you have to do an “advanced search” but it still works out
but yeah, gotta love google.
